John Grant – Pale Green Ghosts
After JOHN GRANT left his alt-rock band “The Czars”, he had to move forward musically and hired folkies “Midlake” to play on his highly acclaimed solo debut “Queen Of Denmark”. Yours Wilhelm has to admit that he didn’t like it – it was somehow Grants 70s softrock album. But he still is on a musical journey. For his new album, he moved to Reykjavík and worked with Birgir Þórarinsson, a.k.a. Biggi Veira, of Iceland’s electronic pioneers Gus Gus.
