John Grant – Pale Green Ghosts

After JOHN GRANT left his alt-rock band “The Czars”, he had to move forward musically and hired folkies “Midlake” to play on his highly acclaimed solo debut “Queen Of Denmark”. Yours Wilhelm has to admit that he didn’t like it – it was somehow Grants 70s softrock album. But he still is on a musical journey. For his new album, he moved to Reykjavík and worked with Birgir Þórarinsson, a.k.a. Biggi Veira, of Iceland’s electronic pioneers Gus Gus.
Watch his dark video to “Pale Green Ghosts” from his album with the same name out in march – JOHN GRANT reached the 80s with synth-poppin new wave!
