The Lake Poets – are actually only one poet: Martin Longstaff from Sunderland, GB, who’s teaming up with some friends when it comes to perform as a band.

Although the video doesn’t quite match my summery feelings right now as temperatures are finally rising, I thought I shouldn’t hide this track from you until the weather gets bad again in autumn. Maybe it’s a good idea to set it aside for a rainy day for being in the right mood for it but anyway, this is completely up to you.

By the way: if you still miss “The Housemartins” as much as I do, you should listen to “City by the sea” immediately and stop moaning that there hasn’t been any good music since they quit the scene. Here’s the counter evidence.
