Born Gold – Bodysongs
From the ashes of the disbanded mind-wobbling Gobble Gobble rises not only our all dearest glitching dreampoppers of Purity Ring, but also Born Gold – another wild synth-pop manifestation of the musical minds of canadian Cecil Frena and friends. He started as a hardcore singer and this is how he explains the transformation from Gobble Gobble into Born Gold: “We have been slowly coaxing this caterpillar into a butterfly with our fists. Check it out, girl – a new face to fit both our past to date and the futuresex we are slowly growing into. Stand before a mirror, hold your palm over your right eye, and repeat Born Gold six times.”
